into a scholarly family in eastern China,
this artist's exceptional talent was evident
from an early age, beginning with her imaginative
chalk drawings on the walls of her home.
Recognizing her potential, her parents enrolled
her in a professional art school at just five years old,
where painting became her primary means of
expressing her inner world. Through her art,
she discovered a profound sense of control and
joy, creating a universe uniquely her own.
She later earned a Master's degree in Illustration
from the Academy of Art University (AAU) in San Francisco,
where she refined her skills in color and mixed media,
developing distinctive textures in her work. Her art
often explores themes of human landscapes, intertwined
with Taoist philosophical concepts from the East. Through
her creations, she seeks to promote the Doctrine of the
Mean and highlight the rich cultural heritage of Eastern
ethnic costumes.
In the early stages of her career, she dedicated herself
to studying the traditional costumes of various Asian
ethnic groups, an endeavor that deeply influenced her
artistic vision. Currently, her work focuses more on
conveying cultural and philosophical ideas through
abstract concepts. Her series "Everyone" was featured
in the September 2024 issue of Fluid Gold Journal's
online art gallery, aiming to celebrate and promote
the ethnic cultures of East Asia.Born
During her graduate studies, she was selected for
the prestigious Spring Show three times, including
in 2022. Her talent has been widely recognized in the
industry, winning second place in Children's Illustration
in 2023 and first place in Book Cover Design in 2024.
She is now preparing to launch two personal projects:
the "Late-Night San Francisco Bus Series" and the
"Flower Series." Through these works, she hopes to
connect with viewers on a deeper level, encouraging
reflection on social issues and resonating with their life
experiences. Her art serves not only as a visual pleasure
but also as a unique language through which she communicates
with the world.
